Historical Perspectives for Development

Alexander Alexandrovich Karasev, a talented physician, a hardware engineer and ingenious inventor was stimulated to develop the device known as the

Self-Controlled-Energo-Neurologic-Adaptive-Regulator

(S.C.E.N.A.R.) due to the health misfortunes of his own family. The usual medical methods were unable to help their health problems. Thus, in a closely guarded developmental laboratory at the University of Sochi, Crimea, now in the Ukraine, Dr. Karasev made the first prototype of the SCENAR in 1976 with the assistance of a team of Doctors and Scientists. They developed a method of treatment that was energy efficient, multi-applicable, portable and non-invasive. This invention was based upon the harmonious combination of the best experience of European and Eastern Medicine as well as the achievements of engineering thought. Since then, 25 years have passed with continuous engineering improvement and repeated efficacy of treatment in a multitude of clinical settings and different medical specialities.

At the Burdenko Institute of Neurosurgery, the device has successfully cured the consequences of spinal trauma for various time intervals post injury. At the Research Institute of Pediatric Surgury, the device has eliminated motor development delay in children. At the Military-Scientific Research Aviation Hospital, diseases of the Central and Peripheral Nervous System were successfully treated. At the Central Hospital of Trauma and Orthopedics, the device cured wounds received in battle.

These pioneers were the first to successfully achieve repeatable therapeutic treatment using electrical signals to stimulate the Immune System , its aim is to stimulate the body to heal, using modulations of its own endogenous energy. Professor Revenko claims that there are very few illnesses that the SCENAR can not treat and often cure. The SCENAR device was immediately dubbed the 'Star Trek' Device by the press because of its similarity to the 'all-curing' medical scanner used in the TV series Star Trek.

In 1987, the SCENAR device and the method of treatment were patented. Further research has been conducted at laboratories in the cities of Taganrog, Ekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk. In the last 12 years, more then 20 modifications have been developed ranging from the simplest hand-held devices to the most complex computer applications.

The SCENAR was developed under the aegis of the Russian Space Program. When the Soviet Union decided to send cosmonauts into orbit for prolonged periods, it was clear that they needed to have a means of treating any illnesses that could befall them. Unlike the American system, there were no convenient reusable shuttles to bring back an ailing cosmonaut to Earth, should the need have arisen. The possibility of incapacitating disease was a major worry. This was at a time when the Russian space programme was being watched by the rest of the world and maintaining national prestige was of paramount concern to the Soviet government. It was essential to come up with something radically new. The Russian Space Center needed another method of treatment in order to overcome the unique problems of space travel and payload. Pharmaceuticals were impractical due to the specificity of each drug for a variety of illnesses, the need to store of a wide variety and large quantities of drugs and the introduction of toxins into the recycled water system which would treat everyone onboard, not just the ill person, many times. A large team of doctors and engineers was assembled and they were assigned the task of perfecting the necessary new technology. It had to be light, easy to use and, of course, really effective. Thus, due to personal need and national need, the SCENAR device was conceived, developed and implemented.

Bioresonance technology was the only extant medical paradigm capable of delivering these stringent requirements. An existing line of development was adapted and the result was SCENAR technology. By expanding on the theoretical work of Anohin, particularly in connection with the reticular formation pathways in the brain, the team developed elegant new physiological models, which led to the current range of electronic interactive devices. The promise of a small hand-held, non-invasive device that is capable of curing most illness, such as was portrayed in the cult 1970s TV series "STAR TREK", has become a reality!
